The Gardner STEM Club is a group of students that have special interests in the Sciences! STEM club students spend extra time investigating science topics through technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students in STEM club may participate in projects that range from studying the life and habitat of owls by dissecting pellets or investigate the magic of flight by building model airplanes and launching rockets. Students also have extra responsibilities in the school:
*We operate and maintain a school recycling program.
* We conduct studies and research about famous scientists, Inventors, and science careers..
* We take care of the science lab critters.
*We help maintain a clean and safe science lab environment.
*We maintain our campus landscaping and participate in annual Earth Day Projects.
*We attend science and nature related outings and trips such as (Arkansas Outdoor School, Heifer Ranch, Water Ecology Streaming, Mineral Dig at Crater of Diamonds, Star Gazing at the HSU Planetarium,, etc)
